Magnetic strip LoCo - HiCo, what is the difference?
The designations LoCo and HiCo are used to differentiate between the following foil types.
Magnetic foils with a low coercivity(approx. 300-400 Oe) are designated as LoCo foils in accordance with ISO 7811-2.
Magnetic foils with a high coercivity(2500 Oe-4200 Oe ) are designated as HiCo foils in accordance with ISO 7811-6.
Coercivity is a measure that defines the writability and the erasure properties of a magnetic stripe. Conversion factor between the Oersted number and A/m are as follows:
1 Oe = 79.578 A/m
330 Oe = 26.26 kA/m
650 Oe = 51.73 kA/m
2750 Oe = 218.84 kA/m
3600 Oe = 286.48 kA/m
Shenzhen SeabreezeRFID Ccompany can according to customer requirements, produce 330 Oe, 650 Oe, 2750 Oe, 3600 Oe magnetic stripe card(http://www.searfid.com/
), magnetic stripe color can choose black, green, blue, brown, red, silver metallic, gold metallic.
